Little Foot

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-42250530 Recently an ancient skeleton was finally completed after over 20 years of cleaning and gathering all of the pieces for the skeleton. It was revealed that this skeleton ages back to about 3.67 million years ago which means she is much older than other famous skeleton Lucy. Scientists that discovered the ancestor to human kind believes that the skeleton used to be a woman because, of her teeth and pelvis. She was in Rigor Mortis during her death due to her skeletal hand being balled up. They call her little foot because she is very small, with that being said Paleontologists believe she was a little girl that fell in a cave located in Johannesburg, South Africa called the Sterkfontein caves. Upon extracting little foot from the caves the paleontologists had to be very careful due to the fact that her bones were very soft from being buried in a concrete like material. Attack at Egypt Mosque

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/27/middleeast/egypt-sinai-mosque-massacre-witnesses/index.html Friday the 18th became a devastating day for over 300 Egyptians that were practicing their religion in Egypt's al Rawda Mosque. Five SUV's had appeared at the mosque before the killing spree had taken place. Later the attackers stepped out with large guns and dressed in army fatigues before piling into  the mosque and opened fire over the victims for about an hour. These men have been described in affiliation with terrorist group ISIS due to some of the attackers wearing the symbol that represents ISIS. This devastating event did not end until men from Egypt's army travelled to the scene to stop the historical massacre, but in the process of doing so many were killed from running out of ammo. Slaves in Libya

The video shows 12 Nigerians being priced at 400 Libyan daughters then sold to their anonymous buyer. Protests have been going on in Paris where many people are reacting to the news. Because of the leak, the United Nations security council called a meeting about the travesties happening in Libya. So far men that represent the UN have spoken up about the issue, and there is an investigation going on but, there aren't any laws that have been created to defeat what's going on. This auction is also happening in nine other places in Libya. Even though it is still in investigation, the UN is becoming more secure about their human trafficking and slavery laws. The slavery crimes happening in Libya currently are persuading other countries on laws of immigration and allowing immigrants to migrate into their areas.

They're being promised high pay rates and benefits but, when they arrive at the homes they are not being compensated. She was promised to only watch over one child but, instead arrived in Oman and was required to care for 5 kids in a three story house. Another woman was guaranteed if she left her family behind to work she would be paid over 200 dollars but instead was given 134$. Other than working long shifts and barely getting any rest, these women were also sexually abused. Their employers would force them into sexual intercourse that they did not want. Infant Mortality Connected to Oil Spills in Nigeria

In the Niger Delta oil spills have been occurring within 10 kilometers of newly pregnant women. These babies are at risk because of the close proximity of the pollution that evolves from the spill. Their life expectancy so far is within a month after they were born. Children and newborns that were conceived at the same time as an oil spill are less likely to be impacted by the spill. So far it does not matter how long the oil spill happened before the baby was conceived, it can range from a few months to years before the baby is born. This is considered a first world problem due to the fact that so many children are not surviving this. Policewomen and Pageants

The process follows, 10 police women are picked to be in a pageant and are required to dress appropriately, while the onlookers that arrive at the pageant are to pick their woman of choice by donating money. The winner of the pageant isn’t determined by looks but, how much that person raises. The policewomen in Liberia that are trained are very low and they only have about 3000 officers in general. Liberia has about 4.5 million citizens therefore only 3,000 police officers cannot watch over and assist crime with so many citizens. It started off with rumors in Mozambique which is also the assumed place of origin of the vampires. According to some you know you have the virus when your nose begins to bleed profusely and you are very weak. To others this is just a hoax. In order to punish the people accused of vampirism for their crime, the citizens of these towns that the vampires reside, are accusing people and stoning them to death. A reason for this so far is due to the new vagrancy laws, which prevent people from loitering certain areas. I think this is a ridiculous accusation but it reminds me of when people were saying we had zombies because of a guy on drugs. Accusations like this happen everywhere it appears, even all the way in Africa.
